
Marriott Bonvoy® and Emirates Skywards Partnership Programme Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (the “Preferred Partnership Terms”) form the basis of the Preferred Partnership Programme (or “Preferred Partnership”) offered by the Marriott Bonvoy® loyalty programme (the “Marriott Bonvoy Programme or “Marriott Bonvoy”) and the Emirates Skywards® programme (the “Emirates Skywards Programme” or “Emirates Skywards”) Registration and participation in the Preferred Partnership Programme will be governed by the Preferred Partnership Terms, the “Emirates Skywards Programme Rules” and the “Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules” (as such terms are defined below), which are the Participant’s (as defined below) responsibility to read and understand. By submitting a registration request for, participating in or availing the benefits of the Preferred Partnership Programme, participants agree to be bound by the Preferred Partnership Terms, the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules and the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules. Each Participant agrees that he/she has read, understood and accepted these Preferred Partnership Terms. Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates Skywards may at any time amend, modify or supplement the Preferred Partnership Terms, and continued participation in the Preferred Partnership will constitute a Preferred Partnership Participant’s acceptance of any such amendment, modification or supplementation.
- Linking accounts for the Preferred Partnership
- Eligibility. Linking accounts for the Preferred Partnership requires existing active membership in both the Marriott Bonvoy Programme and the Emirates Skywards Programme and that an individual’s membership accounts in both Programmes are under the same name (“Participant”). Membership into both Programmes may be obtained for free at https://www.marriott.com/loyalty/createAccount/createAccountPage1.mi?enrollmentSourceCode=TN36 and https://www.emirates.com/account/english/light-registration/?prscode=MWRMA.
- Limitations on Eligibility. If a Participant has elected to receive Emirates Skywards Miles (as opposed to Points) for hotel stays, such Participant may not link their accounts unless the Participant agrees to opt out of receiving Miles and reverts his/her earning preference to Points.
- Registration. A Participant may link their accounts for the Preferred Partnership with Emirates Skywards and Marriott Bonvoy through www.marriott.com/emirates.

Timing.
- Registration. An eligible linked Participant will not be able to earn Skywards Miles, earn Points or receive benefits through the Preferred Partnership (regardless of eligibility), until 48 hours after linking of the accounts is completed.
A Participant who successfully links their accounts at least 48 hours prior to checking out of a Marriott Bonvoy Participating Property will earn Emirates Skywards Miles, provided they meet the requirements of Section 2, regardless of the date on which the Stay was booked.
Similarly, a Participant who links their accounts at least 48 hours prior to taking an Eligible Flight will earn Points, provided they meet the requirements of Section 3, regardless of the date on which the Eligible Flight was booked. - Posting. Any Points earned through the Preferred Partnership will be posted to an Emirates Skywards Member’s Marriott Bonvoy Account within 4 to 6 weeks after the Eligible Flight is completed. Similarly, any Skywards Miles earned will be posted to the Marriott Bonvoy Member’s Emirates Skywards membership account within 4 to 6 weeks after Points post for the Stay.
- Registration. An eligible linked Participant will not be able to earn Skywards Miles, earn Points or receive benefits through the Preferred Partnership (regardless of eligibility), until 48 hours after linking of the accounts is completed.

Programme Terms.
- Marriott Bonvoy Programme. Unless otherwise specified in these Preferred Partnership Terms, the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules will apply to the Preferred Partnership.
- Emirates Skywards Programme. Unless otherwise specified in these Preferred Partnership Terms, the terms and conditions of the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules apply to the Preferred Partnership.
- Member Numbers. An eligible Participant will only be able to earn Skywards Miles, earn Points or receive benefits under these Preferred Partnership Terms: (a) for Qualifying Stays if the reservation includes the Participant’s Marriott Bonvoy Membership Account number; and (b) for Eligible Flights if the reservation includes the Participant’s Emirates Skywards membership number.
- Definitions. To the extent that terms are capitalised in the Preferred Partnership Terms, the terms have the meanings specified in the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules or the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules, as applicable. This includes, without limitation, the definitions of Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties, Qualifying Nights, Qualifying Stays, Qualifying Rates, Qualifying Charges, Gold Elite, Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite and Ambassador Elite Members in the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules and the definitions of Eligible Fare, Eligible Flight, Emirates Skywards Silver, Gold and Platinum tier status in the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules.
- Earning Skywards Miles.
- Hotel Stays. A Participant who is an Emirates Skywards Silver Member, Emirates Skywards Gold Member or Emirates Skywards Platinum Member in the Emirates Skywards programme will earn one Skywards Mile for every one US dollar or its foreign equivalent denomination spent on Qualifying Rates during Qualifying Stays at Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties in addition to earning 3 Points per one US dollar or its foreign equivalent denomination spent in accordance with the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules if the reservation includes the Participant’s Marriott Bonvoy Membership Account number.
- Emirates Skywards Blue Members. An Emirates Skywards Blue member will not earn Skywards Miles through the Preferred Partnership for Stays at Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties.
- Other Hotel Charges. A Participant will earn Skywards Miles only for Qualifying Rates during Qualifying Stays at Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties, and will not earn Skywards Miles for any other Qualifying Charges at Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties (e.g., food and beverage charges, laundry, valet) incurred by a Participant during a Qualifying Stay.
- Earning Points.
- Eligible Flights and Eligible Fares. : (1) an “Eligible Flight” means each segment on any Emirates operated and marketed flight with an EK code. and (2) an “Eligible Fare” means any fare for an Eligible Flight that earns Skywards Miles under the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules. Eligible fares exclude staff tickets, reward tickets, and other promotional tickets.
- Emirates Flights. A Participant who is a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite, Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite Member will earn three Points for every one US dollar or its foreign equivalent denomination spend on Eligible Fares (excluding taxes, fees and surcharges) on Eligible Flights in addition to earning Skywards Miles in accordance with the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules if the reservation includes the Participant’s Emirates Skywards membership number.
- Elite Benefits.

Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties.

Qualifying Stays. A Participant who has Emirates Skywards Gold or Emirates Skyward Platinum status in the Emirates Skywards Programme will receive the following Elite benefits during Qualifying Stays at a Marriott Bonvoy Participating Property if the reservation includes the Participant’s Marriott Bonvoy Membership Account number:
- The ability to use the Elite check-in line that is used by Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite and Platinum Elite Members;
- 4 p.m. Late checkout for Emirates Platinum members and 2 pm Late checkout for Emirates Gold members, subject to availability at Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties; and
- Complimentary guest room enhanced Internet access.
- Restrictions. All services, amenities and benefits provided under Section 4.1.a, are subject to availability and subject to the terms and conditions of each Marriott Bonvoy Participating Property. Not all services, amenities and benefits are offered at all Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties.
- No Incremental Benefits. A Participant who qualifies for Elite benefits pursuant to Section 4.1.a and who is a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite, Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite Member will not receive incremental benefits under this Section 4.1, except that a Gold Elite Member will receive bonus Points as an Elite Welcome Gift as per the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules. A Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite Member may choose an Elite Welcome Gift (Points, breakfast offering or amenity) as per the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules.

A Participant who has Emirates Skywards Gold or Emirates Skyward Platinum status in the Emirates Skywards Programme will receive the following Elite benefits during Qualifying Stays at a Marriott Bonvoy Participating Property if the reservation includes the Participant’s Marriott Bonvoy Membership Account number:

Eligible Flights.

Eligible Flights. A Participant who is a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite, or Ambassador Elite Member will receive the following Elite benefits with Eligible Flights if the reservation includes the Participant’s Emirates Skywards membership number:
- Priority check-in at designated check-in counters;
- Priority boarding on Eligible Flights for the Preferred Partnership Participant only.
- No Incremental Benefits. A Participant who qualifies for Elite benefits pursuant to Section 4.2.a and who is also an Emirates Skywards Silver Member, Emirates Skywards Gold Member, or Emirates Skywards Platinum Member in the Emirates Skywards Programme will not receive incremental benefits under this Section 4.2.

Eligible Flights. A Participant who is a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite, or Ambassador Elite Member will receive the following Elite benefits with Eligible Flights if the reservation includes the Participant’s Emirates Skywards membership number:

Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties.
- Termination of Participation in the Preferred Partnership.
- Termination by a Participant. A Participant may terminate his/her participation in the Preferred Partnership at any time by calling Marriott Bonvoy Member Support or unlinking their account by visiting travel-partner.marriott.com/emirates or by contacting Emirates Contact Center here.

Termination by Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates Skywards. Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates Skywards may suspend benefits or terminate a Participant’s ability to participate in the Preferred Partnership at any time with immediate effect and without written notice, for any reason and in their sole discretion, including, without limitation, if:
- The Participant’s Marriott Bonvoy Member Account or Emirates Skywards membership account has been suspended or terminated for any reason;
- The Participant no longer has an active membership in the Marriott Bonvoy Programme and existing membership in the Emirates Skywards Programme; or

- Marriott Bonvoy or Emirates believes the Participant has: Violated the Marriott Bonvoy Programme Rules or the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules;
- Acted in a manner inconsistent with applicable laws, regulations and ordinances;
- Failed to pay any hotel bill when due to Marriott International, Inc. or a Marriott Bonvoy Participating Property or failed to fulfil a Marriott Vacation Club, Marriott Grand Residence Club or Vistana financial obligation;
- Acted in an inappropriate, fraudulent, abusive or hostile manner;
- Breached or violated any of these Preferred Partnership Terms; or
- Engaged in any misconduct or wrongdoing in connection with the Preferred Partnership.
- Other principles.
- Modification of the Preferred Partnership. Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates may change the Preferred Partnership Terms at any time, for any reason and without notice.
- Termination of Preferred Partnership. Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates may terminate the Preferred Partnership at any time. A Participant may not earn Points for Eligible Flights, or Skywards Miles for Qualifying Stays at Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties, or claim benefits after the termination of the Preferred Partnership.
- Benefits Subject to Availability and Modification. All the Preferred Partnership benefits, amenities, offers, awards and services are subject to availability and may be changed at any time without notice.
- No Sale or Transfer. Preferred Partnership benefits may not be sold, bartered or transferred (other than by Marriott Bonvoy, Emirates Skywards or their respective agents). Any attempted transfer, sale or barter will be void. Marriott Bonvoy, Emirates Skywards and their partners may refuse to honour or recognize any benefits which such party believes may have been transferred, sold or bartered.

Participant Data. Emirates Skywards and Marriott Bonvoy may each receive data regarding Participants from the other party including, without limitation, names, Marriott Bonvoy Account information, and Emirates Skywards Programme account information.
- Emirates Skywards may receive data regarding the Preferred Partnership Participants from Marriott Bonvoy, which may be used by Emirates Skywards in connection with the Preferred Partnership including, without limitation, to verify account information, award Skywards Miles in the Emirates Skywards Programme, and provide Elite benefits. The data provided to Emirates Skywards from Marriott Bonvoy may include a Participant’s first name, last name, title, and Marriott Bonvoy Membership Account number, Marriott Bonvoy tier, Marriott Bonvoy tier expiry date and will be used by Emirates Skywards in accordance with the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules and Privacy Policy.
- Marriott Bonvoy may receive data regarding the Preferred Partnership Participants from Emirates Skywards which may be used by Marriott Bonvoy in connection with the Preferred Partnership including, without limitation, to verify account information, to award Points, and to enable Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties to provide Elite benefits. The data provided to Marriott Bonvoy from Emirates Skywards may include a Participant’s first name, last name, title, Emirates Skywards membership number, Emirates Skywards membership tier, flight ticket number, cabin class and flight date and will be used by Marriott Bonvoy in accordance with the Marriott Bonvoy Privacy Statement.
- No Warranties or Representations, Express or Implied. Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates make no warranties or representations, either expressed or implied with respect to type, quality or fitness of goods or services provided through the Preferred Partnership.
- Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold Marriott Bonvoy, Emirates, Marriott Bonvoy Participating Properties and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these terms and conditions or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
- Waiver. Waiver of any breach of these Preferred Partnership Terms by any Participant will not constitute a waiver of any other prior or subsequent breach of these Preferred Partnership Terms.
- Limitation of Liability. In no event will Marriott International, inc., Emirates or any Marriott Bonvoy participating property be liable for any direct, indirect, special, exemplary, punitive, incidental or consequential damages of any kind, whether based in contract, tort or otherwise, which arise out of or are in any way connected with the preferred partnership terms.
- Choice of Law and Venue. disputes arising out of or related to the Preferred Partnership or its Terms will be handled individually without any class action, and will be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of England and Wales without regard to its conflicts of law rules. The exclusive jurisdiction for any claim or action arising out of or relating to these Preferred Partnerships Terms or the Preferred Partnership with Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates Skywards may be filed only in England and Wales.
- Trademarks, Marriott Bonvoy and their respective logos are the trademarks of Marriott International, Inc. or its affiliates. Emirates and Emirates Skywards are the trademarks of Emirates.
